Researching Homelessness

1) Start with Wikipedia. You can search for “homelessness” in English or in your first language (if your first language is not English).

2) Look up for more information in two other websites. Try to find information that is specific to our area: California and Santa Barbara. You can look up “homelessness” in the L.A. Times, The Independent (Santa Barbara), or other prominent websites.  

3) As a result of your research, collect three pieces of information about “Homelessness” Use the table below to record your information.

If more schools can lead their students to help them, it must be a very nice thing.
2. Homeless people not only need food but also need people's care and respect.	http://www.voanews.com/content/student-street-clinic-helps-homeless/1525283.html	This article gives some examples about homeless's thinking and feeling when those students and teachers help them every week. I think it makes us to understand more about homeless people.
3. A homeless man dead on the Santa Barbara Central Library's lawn.	http://www.independent.com/news/2012/jul/24/homeless-man-found-dead-library-lawn/	This article makes people thinking, and I hope the government could have a good solution to help those people.
